Constitutional Ban on Giuliani Presidency?

Well, maybe.

Rudolph William Giuliani (KBE) II

That KBE is a "title of nobility" given to Giuliani in 2002 by the Queen of England when she made him Honorary Knight. This was for his leadership after 9/11. It stands for "Knight of the British Empire."

Sounds like a wonderful story, doesn't it?

Well, Houston, we have a problem:

According to Article I, Section 9 of the U.S. Constitution, Rudy may not be able to legally hold any office of the U.S.

"No Title of Nobility shall be granted by the United States: And no Person holding any Office of Profit or Trust under them, shall, without the Consent of the Congress, accept of any present, Emolument, Office, or Title, of any kind whatever, from any King, Prince, or foreign State."

Wouldn't shock me if the Dems didn't have an October surprise planted in their back pocket.
