Another Fine Leap for Diversity

Andy Young, US ambassador to the United Nation, former Atlanta mayor and civil rights leader [chuckle - ed.] was hired to spruce up Wal-Mart's image in the minority community. I don't think he quite achieved his purpose. Here is the righteous Reverend explaining why Wal-Mart isnt the source of all evil in the world, it is the mom and pop shops:

``Well, I think they should; they ran the 'mom and pop' stores out of my neighborhood,'' the paper quoted Young as saying. ``But you see, those are the people who have been overcharging us, selling us stale bread and bad meat and wilted vegetables. And they sold out and moved to Florida. I think they've ripped off our communities enough. First it was Jews, then it was Koreans and now it's Arabs; very few black people own these stores.''

Joos, nips and camel jockeys. Thanks Rev for cultutral analysis. Dollars to doughnuts this racist will still be referrred to as the "distinguished civil rights leader". If a Repub in Congress coughed up bile like this he'd be belly up at a bar faster than Rev Jackson could shake down a multinational.
