Hallof Fame Inductions

It was great to see Bruce Sutter inducted to the Hall. His dominance for the Cards made him deserving. Now let's get Goose Gossage and Lee Smith in. The game has changed. The one/two inning closer is an integral part of success in the game today. As much as Mariano Rivera is the Head Butcher of the Great Satan, his dominance and success with the Yankees shows us how important the position it is. He defines Yankee baseball.

Bruce today gave a speech worthy of his honor. He showed humility and honor. Congratulations Bruce.

Perhaps more important were the inductees from the Negro Leagues. They played with honor and dignity when MLB said they have no place. I love to look at baseball statistics but always regretthat those statistics would look very different if those Negro players were a part of it.
