Richard Land, president of the Southern Baptist Convention’s Religious and Ethics Liberty Commission, has some nice words about Thompson:
“Fred Thompson reminds me of a Southern-fried Reagan,” Land said. “To see Fred work a crowd must be what it was like to watch Rembrandt paint.”

I agree, bg. Better out of the spotlight for now. I think many Repubs still aren't aware that the field is so sparse. I think he'll be able to raise $$ no matter when he enters.
