Pics from Tórður

Anybody who has perused this blog knows that I have developed quite an affinity for the Faroe Islands. I am astounded by the Islands' beauty. I am fortunate to have begun a correspondence with Tórður (please don't ask for a pronunciation ;), an inhabitant of one of the Islands. He was kind enough to email a couple of beautiful pictures he has taken. Thanks Tórður. The pictures descriptions' are his.

I took about a week ago in Lopra, which is in Suðuroy. It's not often one has a chance to photograph a goose with her very small chicks.

I took picture on the road between Klaksvík and Hvannasund on the island of Borðoy the day before yesterday. A bit cloudy, but still pretty.
