Let's just call this, the exaltation of incompetence:
NEW ORLEANS -- New Orleans Mayor Ray Nagin might be making a run for the governor's mansion.
Nagin was on the Tom Joyner radio show on the New 99.5 FM on Friday morning.
"There's a wide open governor's race, and we'll take a look at it," Nagin said, when asked to clear up rumors about a possible bid.
The radio station reported that Nagin could announce his candidacy in the next seven to 10 days.
In the past, the mayor has said that he had no interest in running for governor.

As much as I disliked the Don Imus show, Bernie's Nagin impression was priceless.
