Should a Test of 'Liberalism' Go this Far?

And, should there be such a test of liberalism?

AMSTERDAM, Netherlands - The camera focuses on two gay men kissing in a park. Later, a topless woman emerges from the sea and walks onto a crowded beach. For would-be immigrants to the Netherlands, this film is a test of their readiness to participate in the liberal Dutch culture.

Despite whether they find the film offensive, applicants must buy a copy and watch it if they hope to pass the Netherlandsā€˜ new entrance examination.

Should a person be subjected to such a test to become a citizen? I thought a corollary to the concept of freedom was the ability to look away at those things an individual might think offensive.

I wonder how the Muslims that immigrate are reacting.

I'm surprised they haven't torched the immigration office, beheaded the staff members, and burned the flags outside.

.... and then file complaints to the E.U. and U. N. because of a lack of religious tolerance.
